Mauricio Vargas is a Procurement Analyst at SNH Strategic Partners, where he leverages data and analytics to inform cost-saving decisions and improve operational efficiency across portfolio companies. He works closely with senior stakeholders to evaluate spending, develop performance metrics, and deliver analytical insights that support disciplined, data-driven decision-making.
Before joining SNH, Mauricio gained experience across the insurance and financial services sectors, where he focused on analytical problem-solving, scalable reporting, and data automation. His work centered on extracting insights from complex datasets to improve performance visibility and support operational and financial decision-making.
Mauricio holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics and a minor in Logic & Computation from Carnegie Mellon University.
Outside of work, Mauricio enjoys soccer, poker, and exploring topics related to climate change and philosophy.
